First Saturday Mass
On Saturday, December 1, several members braved the forecast of snow to celebrate Mass in honor of the Virgin Mary. This was the last Saturday before Advent, which began on December 2nd.
Several of the members still went to breakfast. The snow began in earnest. The snowfall was lovely, even if it was soon to inhibit travel for the rest of the day.
For January, the First Saturday gathering and SFO Mass will be on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. at St. Bridget. Several special Masses are scheduled during January, all at 8:00 a.m. Irene Leach will be remembered on Friday, January 4, Wednesday, January 16, and Friday, January 25. Wednesday, January 9, will have Mass for Joe Majkozak. And on Saturday, January 12, Mass will be celebrated for Gertrude McGrath.
