Fr. Vincent passed away Monday, May 12, 2008
Fr.
Vincent Spinos, TOR, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2008, in Altoona, PA.
Fr. Vincent was 83 years old.
Fr. Vincent came to Minnesota in 1971 and remained in Minnesota most of the years until 2007, when he returned to St. Bernadine’s Monastery in Holidaysburg, PA, due to his health.
During his time at St. Bridget’s, Fr. Vincent was regularly involved with St. Anthony of Padua Fraternity. He was usually celebrant at the first Saturday Mass and one of the most regular attendees at our breakfast. Fr. Vincent also was long time spiritual assistant to St. Joseph Fraternity in Delano and Watertown. Even after leaving Delano, he visited St. Joseph most months while he was at St. Bridget.
Fr. Vincent’s funeral was on Friday, May 16, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Windber, PA. There will be a memorial Mass at St. Bridger at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21.
