News from Browns Valley

The St. Anthony of Padua forming Fraternity in Browns Valley, MN, is having their July meeting on Sunday the 6th after Mass. The formation of the Fraternity and of the members continues to progress in a suitable and positive manner. The two men in Orientation are on their fourth lesson using the Secular Franciscan Rule, while our Candidates are on Lesson Eight. The Feast Day of St. Francis will be the Profession of Anita, Kathy and Bernie, who is transferring from San Damiano Fraternity in Elk River and is a very welcome addition to our forming group. The Franciscan Spirit has and continues to develop among our group with many involved in various apostolates. The Prayer Shawl apostolate continues, with three more people in our community receiving them. This brings the total to 14 that are wrapped in prayer while they struggle with health issues.

I would like to share with all Fr. Pat's wonderful report on his Pastoral visitation, but space doesn't allow it. If anyone is curious though, they can get a copy from Tammy.
