Secular Franciscan Retreat

Were you expecting the Secular Franciscan Retreat at Prior Lake to be in May or June? That’s how it typically has been. This year, however, the retreat has been moved to the fall, October 31 to November 2, 2008. The retreat has been re-titled "Friends of Francis."

The theme chosen is "Francis of Assisi: Finding Peace in an Uncertain World." Conferences are:

• The Life of St. Francis: A Quest for God;
• Obstacles and Grace;
• Suffering and Healing;
• I Have Done What is Mine to Do, May Christ Teach You Yours.
