Susie Rieschl passed away June 4, 2004

Susie takes part in one of our ealiest professionsSusie was professed March 6, 1982. The fraternity had been formed four years before and its first professions were in 1979.

Thus Susie came to serve St. Anthony of Padua fraternity. She was already serving St. Bridgets Church in many ways. The small duties she came to perform for the fraternity were just a continuation of this service.

Many in the fraternity and the parish have recalled the trips they took with Susie. All acknowledge that she kept them fun and lively.

Susie is among the fraternitys participants in the District gathering in 1988 in Chaska, MNFor the last couple years, Susies health prevented her from fully participating in the fraternity. She was rarely able to be at the gatherings. However, many visits from many members helped her to continue to be involved with us. Special thanks go to all those who helped to keep Susie connected, and especially to Rose and Alice.

Susies wake and funeral were at St. Bridget on the morning of Wednesday, June 9. Remember Susie in your prayers. And remember that she is still part of our fraternity in the mystery of the communion of saints.

In accordance with fraternity tradition, three Masses have been arranged for Susie. Watch for them at St. Bridget. Two are scheduled for 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30 and Wednesday, November 10. It is unclear when the third Mass is scheduled, so watch the fraternity and church bulletin for details.
